Someone forwarded me this email earlier:
Greeting Fellows CRs!
I hope everyone has had an enjoyable start to their summer.
I'm just writing to inform everyone about a Blogger Training school hosted by Americans for Prosperity. It is being held in Oshkosh on Monday June 9th at Robbins Restaurant, and in Madison on Wednesday June 11th at the Lucy Burns Institute , both with a 5:30 reception and a 6:30 start. We are planning on having an active CR blog this year, and will be asking all members for input, so this seminar is an excellent opportunity to learn about the impact of blogs, learn how to start your own blog, and learn how to be an effective blogger. Please note that this training is FREE, with refreshments and sandwiches included. If you are going to be in either the Oshkosh or Madison area on either of these dates and are interested in attending, please RSVP to wirspv@afp.org. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact vice chair Kristen Wall at xxxxxx@wisc.edu or 608.xxx.xxxx, or you can contact Americans For Prosperity directly at 414.475.2975.
This is sure to be a great event and we hope you all can make it!
That's right, a group that has never done anything effectively now wants to teach kids how to blog effectively. Shouldn't AFP be busying itself by hosting pointless rallies outside the Capitol, or focusing its efforts on ridding the Assembly of RINOs? If these kids want to be crappy bloggers, send them down to Racine County and let them learn from the conservatives there.
Delegate, guys, delegate.

Just out of curiosity ... does AFP not understand that most universities in Wisconsin -- and specifically the ones in Oshkosh and Madison -- end their academic years in May?
Wouldn't it have been a better idea to have scheduled this little seminar in like March or April, or does AFP plan to teach CRs the art of shitty timing as well?
Huh? I don’t get it. Why does anyone need to be trained to scribe their opinions on a Web page? I mean, seriously…is it really that difficult? Is this the agenda for the day?

HA! Everyone here is so right about this. Blogging is easy. You just write. And either you have something to say that people want to read or you don't. And you can tell that by using a stat counter.
If only I was around next week, I'd love to sit in on one of these sessions and see what they have to say.
Will they be asking about using a wisc.edu email account for politcal hackery?
The funniest part of this whole thing is that AFP is grabbing onto the tail of the blogging phenomena about the time its starting its slow spiral into irrelevancy. Blogging is so very, very 2006. When an old fart like me gets in on a trend it's headed the way of teh Sony Walkman and "David and David's Greatest Hits."
Dido on the use of state email account for political stuff.
"David and David's Greatest Hits."
lol
