Liberal education agenda masquerades as news

From the MJS:

Wisconsin provides less need-based financial aid to students at public colleges and universities than some neighboring states, according to a new report.

"Measuring Up 2008," released today by the National Center for Public Policy and Higher Education, also found that while Wisconsin does well compared with other states in preparing young people for college and awarding degrees, the gaps between white students and minorities are among the largest in the nation.

The report gives Wisconsin an F in college affordability. It also gives 48 other states failing grades. The only non-failing grade is a C-.

So if Bob Dohnal issued a report card that said 98 out of 99 Assembly members failed to be batshit crazy enough for him, and gave Bill Kramer a C-, would we find that equally newsworthy? Or would we write it off as irrelevant ranting from someone who lacks any kind of substantive ability to evaluate issues objectively?

Just asking.

The only problem with the analogy is this -- the only lawmaker bat-shit crazy enough to earn a C- from Bob Dohnal was Tom Reynolds. I think that Dohnal actually has a little "Tom Reynolds" altar in his house, with the candles and all that -- and a vidcap of Reynolds from the "Fingers Butts and Spankings" video, with his finger pointing skyward, as the central photo of His Holiness.
