Playground Tips for Vulnerable Legisators, Vol. 54

When you vote for a state budget that increases landfill tipping fees by 255%, maybe think about whether you ever cut any television ads that expressly opposed increasing fees for garbage.

"Now Madison has passed the buck in the form of a new garbage fee. You know, our legislators like to talk about cutting taxes, but all they ever do is keep on spending." - Gordon Hintz, v.2006

I wonder what Gordon Hintz, v.2009 has to say about the earlier version. Maybe he'll tell the City of Oshkosh to go look for $140,000 on the money tree out behind City Hall. Hypocrite much?

Is this why Rep. Hintz's vote for the budget may have been 'encouraged' by including $500,000 at the last minute for Oshkosh Opera House repairs?

Dunno. Maybe you should blog about it and then run again in 2010.

Rep. Hintz has been a very effective lawmaker, working to get resources for UW Oshkosh, improving the community as a whole and being advocate for the district citizens. Leave it to Republicans to believe that they can take back this seat, first watch the Pung Leschke-Hintz debate that is posted on You Tube and then get back to me. I remember Republicans predicting that Pung Leschke was clean him off the table because she was such a strong candidate. Dream the dream, maybe this is the year that Obey goes down too..

For the record, I didn't say anything about the Republicans winning back the seat. I'm just saying Gordon Hintz is an enormous, forgetful hypocrite.

Looking foward to your next post on Julie Pung Leschke returning to state politics framed with Nixon'68 angle... Does the new GOP leadership team pay you for these nice shots at Democrats.

I'm an equal opportunity offender. I call it like I see it.

Wow, it looks like we have some playground virgins whose google alerts went crazy at the mention of Rep Hintz...

Hmm, looks like Dem staffers carry their attitude and arrogance to the blogs too. Glad to see they learned nothing, absolutely nothing, from their AssGOP counterparts the past few years as the GOP ran themselves out of power. Welcome to the world of having to defend yourselves folks. It's a lot easier to take the potshots and lob the bombs when you're not in charge, but it's a whole different story when you control the keys to the castle. Keep it up and your misery won't last long. Oh, and for those that think this blog is a shill for the AssGOP, you need to tune in more often.

Is this video posted somewhere else? Looks like it was taken down.

You may need to call Rep. Hintz and ask what happened to the video. Hopefully someone archived it. I may have to call his office myself to see if he's changed his position on garbage fees again in the last few days. He seems fickle on this issue.
