Ever dreamed of living in a country where 10-year-old girls are forced to carry their stepfather's baby? Look no further! Just pack your bags and head on down to Mexico!
Mexico City, Mexico (CNN) -- A pregnant 10-year-old, allegedly raped by her stepfather, has become the latest lightning rod in the country's heated abortion debate.
The girl's stepfather has been arrested. But advocates on both sides of the issue say their battle is just beginning.
"This girl is much more than an isolated case," said Adriana Ortiz-Ortega, a researcher at Mexico's National Autonomous University who has written two books on abortion in Mexico, "and there is much more influence now from conservative groups that are trying to prevent the legalization of abortion."
So if all you nutjob conservatives move to Mexico, and all you crazy leftists finally move to Canada like you said you would when Bush was elected, maybe my country could finally solve some of its problems.

That made me laugh!!
The girl said she wants to have the baby.
"They say attorneys for abortion-rights activists have shown up at the girl's home with plane tickets in hand in an attempt to whisk her away to get an abortion, but the child has said adamantly, 'This is my baby. I’m having my baby. I will call my girl Alejandra.'
Funny how Planned Parenthood would say a girl that age has the right to decide for herself to have an abortion, but isn't capable to decide not to have one.
"Women’s rights groups say she is being pressured to have the child and was never informed of all her options."
Funny when the shoe is on the other foot. Pro-abortion groups in this country never seem to find someone being pressured to have an abortion or inform someone of all the options.
Lobbying is fine. My question is who's doing the lobbying? Is she being influenced by people whose passivity and lack of concern were contributory to her perhaps getting abused and knocked up by her mother's husband? Because those people don't have any reason to be anywhere near the girl.
The issue here isn't that people who are pro-life are trying to influence her. The issue here is that people who are potentially pro-child rape are trying to influence her.
