Scott Walker to buy London Bridge

After all, everything else is falling down in Milwaukee County, why not add one more piece of structurally suspect architecture to the collection?

MILWAUKEE -- A cement board crashed down at Mitchell International Airport on Saturday night, injuring a teenage passenger.

WISN 12 News obtained the sheriff's report.

The documents show the 18-year-old boy was in concourse D on Saturday night when a piece of fiber cement board fell 15 feet hitting him in the head.

WISN 12 News cameras were not allowed past security on Sunday to view the damage, but the report said the board is similar to drywall and weighed 14 pounds.

It left the teenager with a 6-inch cut on his head. The boy refused treatment and continued on his flight.

One piece of advice to the kid: get a lawyer and let Milwaukee County pay for your college education.

Let's be honest Milwaukee County has numerous buildings in disrepair, out of code and out of date. Just because every month randomly large pieces fall off of the county buildings or the state/federal government demands millions of dollars of repair to faculities, it doesn't say anything about the management of Milwaukee County. Scott Walker has SAVED Milwaukee County because people have to take responsibility like wearing extra strong hard hats at your county job and outside on the street while walking by the Courthouse.

I agree. Scott Walker and the Milwaukee County Board should budget $5.8 million for hard hats for every Milwaukee County resident. These must be worn on every Milwaukee County government property.

Leave it to the tone death Walker campaign to put out an incredible bad taste headline release this weekend after this injury occurred, only weeks after the horrible death of a young boy who was crushed to death at a county parking ramp. Unreal, how how uncaring this guy is.

I know that the Democrats whine that Scott Walker left Milwaukee County during the flooding, but isn't it better that Walker put his county paid campaign/full time political hacks in charge of the situation. These folks were able to implement Operation Good Job Brownie, while most politicians love a leadership opportunity in a crisis with media and constitute attention, Scott Walker was able to demonstrate that meeting cute college Republican women in Eau Claire is a lot more fun.

Mr. 250k jobs left Milwaukee County open to litigation, with his "in my opinion" statement blaming a parking ramp contractor before the County ramp investigation is finished. So what is the purpose of having an investigation that is biased to favor the county and having it's head investigator be the head of the county government? Are the 250,000 new jobs that Walker is creating going be all lawyers and paralegals suing Milwaukee County and the State of Wisconsin?
